We offer you the opportunity to study either on-campus or online. Traditional students also have a flexible schedule with classes being held in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We also have top-notch professors recruited from the Sierra Leone, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon etc… There is no excuse for not studying at AIT!

Scholarships

Early Bird Scholarship (1,000 SLE)

The first 100 students who apply for admission into AIT will automatically receive 1,000 SLE  in scholarship.

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist our alumni who desire to study abroad to gain admission into our partner universities abroad, especially in the United States of America. The value would depend on the requirements of the partner university.

AIT also provide its students with external scholarship opportunities for study abroad in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other Europeans. This information will be provided to current students and alumni through the school portal.

Admission Requirements

Admissions Requirements

University admissions requirements in Sierra Leone typically include:

  • High school certificates: The West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), Senior School Certificate (SSCE), or General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • English proficiency: A minimum of C6 in English Language on the WASSCE or GCE "O" Level
  • Academic transcripts: Official transcripts of completed courses and grades for each semester
  • Degree certificates: Official certificates or diplomas for completed degrees from an internationally recognized higher education institution
  • Identification: A copy of a passport page with your personal data and photograph
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) TBD
  • AIT admits student on a case-by-case basis and may decide to admit students who do not meet the above requirements based on other qualifications including: Related work experience or RPL
  • Other academic or industry certifications attained
